Perfect Pets

Rabbits are curious, quiet, and social animals.

They communicate mostly through body language, such as thumping their feet or making small grinding sounds with their teeth. Many enjoy companionship—either with humans or other rabbits.

Just a little nibble!

Treats should make up no more than 5% of your rabbits daily food intake.

Frequently asked questions

Start with a tiny piece, wait 24 hours, and watch for signs of stomach upset (soft stools, gas, decreased appetite). Add new foods slowly and one type at a time.

Rabbits can have small pieces of apple, banana, berries (strawberry, blueberry), mango, pear, and pineapple. Because fruit is high in sugar, only offer 1–2 teaspoons per day maximum.

Yes! Veggies like small carrot flakes, parsnip, peas and beetroot make excellent occasional treats.

Leafy greens, herbs and vegetables can be given daily, in moderation, while sugary treats like fruit should only be given a few times a week.
