- Spot-clean daily to remove soiled bedding
- Do a full bedding change every couple of weeks (not too often — hamsters like their scent!)
- Mix in tunneling materials like shredded paper for extra enrichment
- Give your hamster a big enough cage to dig and tunnel freely.
